Robert Bauman has been an Accountant and Business Advisor for over 25 years and a Financial Planner for 17 years. He holds a Bachelor in Accounting from the University of Tennessee and a Master in Finance from Georgia State University.

Robert is the Director of AD Hamilton & Associates (Accountancy) and Straight Money Talk P/L (Financial Planning). His vast experience in the work and business world allows him to understand exactly what challenges people face to make their money and get ahead financially, whether as an employee or an employer. He provides advice and education to Small Business Owners in all areas of accounting and business development to help boost their bottom line.

Robert’s passion is to educate and empower individuals and business people to take their financial future into their own hands. That’s why he wrote two books - 5 Steps to Financial Independence and Straight Money Talk – A Straightforward Plan for Financial Independence - to spread the message he has distilled over the years of his accounting and financial planning practice.

In his personal time, Robert enjoys spending time with his daughters and grandchild. He is a season ticket holder for the Brisbane Lions and he enjoys a relaxing (sometimes frustrating) game of golf from time to time.

Sandra Price is the director of Price Bookkeeping Solutions. After 20 years working in accounts roles in various fields. KELLY O'BRIEN

MY FINANCIAL BOUTIQUE

 

In 2004 Kelly worked in the health industry and her daily role was to visit with the sick and the elderly.

This opened her eyes to the fact that the majority of these people had little or no savings to be able to assist them in regaining their health. One particular lady would save for two years just so she could catch the train to Cairns.

It was through hearing stories like this every day that Kelly began to question why it was that these people, who had worked most of their life, had no money. She decided that she wanted to help people have better control of their financial lives. The vehicle she chose to do this was home and investment loans.

Kelly thrives on working with business owners and investors and enjoys finding the weaknesses within their loan structures and cash flow system so she can demonstrate how to improve it. She also enjoys finding the strengths in a client’s loan structure to maximise its potential.   

Kelly loves discovering the life and financial goals of all clients; this is her motivation and inspiration to help.

Her goal is to understand her clients, their challenges and their strengths so she can customise a strategy and solution that is a perfect fit.
